An update from the College – 22 October 2020

During half-term week (w/c Monday 26 October), all Barnsley College buildings will be closed. After half-term the College will be operating as usual but only those students or staff who have been specifically requested to be onsite will be allowed to attend. We advise anyone visiting the College, even if they do not enter our buildings, to wear face coverings.

All students and their parents or carers, can be assured that we are following government guidelines for class sizes and social distancing measures. We will continue to utilise ‘blended learning’ with students receiving a mixture of online delivery and practical, on-site taught sessions.

Each campus building is COVID-secure with hand sanitiser stations on arrival and clearly-signed one-way systems, amongst other measures including contact tracing where necessary.

We will continue to closely monitor the government guidelines and should any changes need to be made, we will keep you as informed as possible.
