Health and Social Care provides an opportunity to explore how health affects individuals in society. You will investigate areas including building positive relationships, equality and diversity and health and safety. The course focuses on developing the skills, knowledge and understanding needed to work in related fields such as nursing, social work, public health or midwifery.
OCR Level 3 Alternative Academic Qualification in Health and Social Care (Extended Certificate).
Equivalent to one A Level in size, it is suitable for students looking to develop their applied knowledge and skills in Health and Social Care as part of a study programme alongside A Levels. This course will take two years to complete.
