Barnsley Sixth Form College has announced the appointment of Denise Jelly as its new Principal.
Denise replaces Liz Leek, who has taken up the position of Vice Principal for Curriculum at Barnsley College.
Denise was previously Head of Faculty for Sixth Form, GCSEs and International at Nottingham College.
She has also worked as the Head of High Pavement Sixth Form and as Head of Additional Learning Support and Support Learning at New College Nottingham.
Denise said: “I am really pleased to have taken up the position of Principal of Barnsley Sixth Form College. Barnsley Sixth Form College is such an exciting environment to be in, full of hard working staff and students who are focused on being the best they can be. The building is both wonderful and welcoming and I am enjoying getting to know our students.”
