47 of our students have taken part in the Senior Maths Challenge, a competition which aims to stimulate mathematical problem solving.
The 90-minute challenge is devised by the United Kingdom Mathematics Trust (UKMT) and the paper contains 25 multiple choice questions, of which the final 10 are designed to be the most difficult.
The students are currently waiting for the results of the challenge to be announced. The most successful participants will be invited to enter one of two follow-on rounds: the Senior Kangaroo Challenge made up of multiple choice questions or the British Mathematical Olympiad Round 1 which requires full written answers.
